Single engine jets provide all the same sophistication as that of their twin-engine brothers. They are incredibly quiet, in most cases can fly longer distances at half the fuel and maintenance cost and they are equally as fast. Single jet engines are incredibly reliable compared to that of the piston engine's track record which has proven their safety. It really comes down to operational cost, and nothing more. The piper jet is in a league of its own in terms of comfort, cabin space and luxury which is better than that of most twin jets. I'm a citation 500 person at heart and that is because it has two engines, however the piper jet beats the Citation in speed, spaciousness, economy and luxury. Safety wise single engine or not it's 1000 times safer than going by car and that's a fact.
